A symposium, “Debating US National Security Whistleblowing: Secrets, the State, and Democracy,” will take place next Thursday, October 18, from 4 to 7 pm at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, organized by NYU historian Hannah Gurman. Historians and advocates will take part, along with CIA whistleblower John Kirikaou and NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake.
