Penn State Please mark your calendars for a Historians Against the War Teach-In, scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 7-10pm, 108 Forum, Penn State. All members of the Penn State and State College community are encouraged to attend. This event -- one of dozens of Historians Against the War* teach-ins to be held at campuses across the country on or about April 9-10 -- will bring together a range of critical perspectives from Penn State historians on the war in Iraq; its causes, its implications, and world reaction. For now, we hope you can join us at this new time of Tuesday, April 8, 7-10pm -- and thus join in the thousands attending Historians Against the War teach-ins nationwide next week.
Pass the word, and see you there! *Historians Against the War was launched at the beginning of this year by historians sharing a common concern over the rush to war with Iraq.
