Molly Nolan—The Costs of War at Home

Molly Nolan is Professor of History at NYU and works with Brooklyn Parents for Peace, a twenty year old peace and social justice organization.  She has been particularly active in counter-recruitment efforts in high schools and neighborhoods.

Corey Robin—The American Way of Repression

Corey Robin, author of Fear:  The History of a Political Idea, teaches political science at Brooklyn College and the Graduate Center, CUNY.

Uri Ram—The Domestic Origins of Foreign Policy

Professor Uri Ram teaches Sociology at Ben Gurion University, Israel, and in 2006-2007 at the New School.  His recent books include The Globalization of Israel:  McWorld in Tel Aviv, Jihad in Jerusalem (Hebrew 2005, English 2007) and The Time of the “Post:” Nationalism and the Politics of Knowledge in Israel (Hebrew).

Marilyn Young, Professor of History at NYU.  Among her books are Vietnam Wars:  1945-1990 and The New American Empire (co-edited with Lloyd Gardner).
